The U.S. subsidiary has over 50 locations nationwide and provides services including international transportation, household goods relocation, warehousing, distribution, and customs support. Position Overview

The Household Goods Coordinator is responsible for supporting residential and corporate relocations by preparing required documentation, coordinating with customers, and working closely with the moving team. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both outdoors and in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with customers via email or phone to gather required documents for the move
  • Ensure all shipment-related documentation is completed accurately
  • Coordinate with the moving team to ensure proper packing, removal, and loading of household goods
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with drivers and movers
  • Assist with careful packing and delivery of customer belongings
  • Perform general administrative and business support tasks as needed
  • Utilize bilingual English/Japanese skills (reading, writing, speaking)

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Japanese (read, write, speak)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; data entry skills
  • Ability to communicate clear instructions to drivers and moving crew
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work overtime based on customer needs
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold)

Work Environment

This role involves frequent outdoor work, including lifting, packing, and moving household goods, combined with some office duties. Work hours may vary depending on customer needs.
