Work Hours: 8:30-5:15 – 1h Lunch Break
Location : Morgan Hill, CA *Hybrid Work, 3-4 days at the office
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Generate and deliver accurate quotations using company templates to customers in a timely manner.
- Process orders promptly and communicate shipment dates to customers.
- Assist with customer registrations and oversee credit limit applications.
- Conduct a quarterly audit and inventory check of SMI accounts, if applicable
- Serve as the primary liaison between factories and customers, utilizing tools such as email, customer portals, and EDI systems.
- Provide invoices to customers and ensure timely receipt of payments.
- Coordinate meetings with distributors and ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Maintain and update forecast data, budgets, and records in the CRM system.
- Accompany sales representatives on customer visits and tradeshows as needed to foster relationships and provide administrative support.
- Prepare presentation materials for both customers and internal use as requested.
- Regularly report sales activities, customer insights, and progress to the sales manager.
- Assist other Sales Assistant in office with support on answering office phone and greeting office visitors.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in sales or customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Japanese.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Salary Range
$51,000 – $79,000 per year (depending on experience) USD.
