Position: Logistics Operation Assistant (Bulk & Container)

Salary: $54-65k/year (DOE) plus bonus

Working Hours: 7 hours/day, 35 hours/week

Work Style: Onsite work for the first month, then hybrid 3 days/week onsite

Position Summary

This position supports export logistics operations from the U.S. to Asia, handling both bulk and container shipments. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, shipping lines, and freight forwarders, as well as managing trade documentation and shipment schedules. Experience with chartering and trade operations is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Support export logistics operations from the U.S. to Asia (bulk and container shipments)
• Coordinate shipment schedules with shipping lines, carriers, and freight forwarders
• Assist with chartering-related operations (preferred)
• Prepare and manage trade and shipping documents such as Bills of Lading and invoices
• Track shipment status and provide updates to internal stakeholders
• Maintain logistics and shipment data and prepare basic reports
• Provide general administrative support for logistics and operations activities

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, trade operations, supply chain, or related fields
• Knowledge or experience with bulk and container shipping preferred
• Chartering and trade operation experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills in English
• Japanese language skills are a plus
• Must have long-term work authorization in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided)
