General Description
As a Sales Representative for a leading manufacturer and seller of thermistor elements and temperature sensors, you will be responsible for overall customer support and developing new business opportunities in the North American market.
Key Responsibilities
Research and generate new leads through tradeshows, local media, and social media
Handle customer inquiries: provide samples, negotiate pricing, specifications, and packaging, and process purchase orders
Manage customer forecasts (FCST) and production schedules
Negotiate production leveling with customers
Operate and manage supplier portals for sales and quality-related matters
Collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth communication and project execution
Domestic business travel: 2–3 times per month
Perform other related duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technical background (education or prior work experience)
Confident in discussing technical details with customer engineers
Experience in the automotive electronics field preferred
Passionate about developing new customers and business opportunities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computing
Conversational Japanese ability preferred (able to communicate smoothly with engineers in Japan)
