Our client is seeking an Engineer to act as a key technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams. This role supports application-related engineering activities from initial customer inquiry through production and plays a critical role in ensuring smooth technical communication across design, manufacturing, and quality functions.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, supporting application engineering activities from inquiry through production
Act as a bridge between customers and internal teams by translating customer requirements into clear technical inputs
Coordinate technical discussions, manage engineering issues, and ensure timely and accurate communication
Work directly with customer engineers (OEM, Tier 1, and non-automotive companies)
Clarify, manage, and control engineering concerns and issues
Identify customer needs and application challenges and collaborate internally to support business growth opportunities
Transfer drawings and specifications among R&D, manufacturing plants, and customers
Prepare presentations and reports for internal teams and external customers regarding technical engineering matters
Support new model and quality-related activities, including coordination with supplier engineering teams
Required Qualifications
Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Engineering experience preferred
Automotive industry experience preferred
Thermal management development experience is a plus
Japanese language ability is a plus
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical information clearly
Occasional travel may be required
