Sales representative

An automotive dealer is looking for a Sales Representative.

Salary: Base salary + Commission (Employees are currently making around $60-80K.)

Visa support considerable for the qualified candidates. Entry level and STEM OPT candidates are welcomed.

General Position Summary

This is a sales position that deals mainly with the buying and selling of cars for expatriate customers from Japan. Basically, we conduct business meetings in person at our stores, video meetings, or business trips to customers' homes. You will be in charge of everything from setting up appointments in advance to business negotiations and follow-up.

For the training and education, you will first accompany senior employees in their sales activities to learn how to do the job. If you have basic business skills and manners, you can take on this job even if you have no experience in the industry.

• Car sales negotiation (proposal of a car that fits the customer's purpose of use, proposal of options, and preparation for delivery of the car)
• Negotiations regarding the purchase of vehicles (vehicle inspections, price proposals, and post-purchase maintenance arrangements)
• Sell/purchase vehicles through auctions
• Arrangement of car maintenance and land transportation
• Registration of vehicles (posting of vehicles at the DMV and on the company's website, etc.)
• Collect information and data useful for marketing through the buying and selling of vehicles.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Business level fluency in Japanese
• Solid appraisal abilities
• Exceptional speed and proven accuracy in appraisal work
• “Can do” attitude regarding all aspects of appraisal and customer service
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Flexibility in working hours
• Ability to work under pressure
