Accountant II/III – Automotive Parts Manufacturer

Salary Range: $70-95K DOE

A global automotive parts manufacturer is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its U.S. Accounting Team. This role focuses on inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and manufacturing cost analysis to support accurate financial reporting and decision-making. Regular collaboration with cross-functional teams and travel to the Reynosa, Mexico plant are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile, reconcile, and analyze inventory, COGS, and manufacturing costs
• Prepare journal entries and financial reports; ensure accurate system integration (GMS/Oracle)
• Evaluate inventory reserves and internal controls
• Collaborate across departments to resolve accounting issues and recommend process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills; Oracle/GMS experience a plus
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• Available for regular travel to manufacturing plant in Mexico (1–2 times per week)
