A global leader in the manufacturing of premium aftermarket motorcycle accessories is seeking an R&D Engineering Technician to join its growing Research & Development team.

In this hands-on role, you will be directly involved in the development of new products and manufacturing processes, working closely with experienced engineers, designers, and fabricators. Key Responsibilities

  • Support all phases of product development, including:
    • Project documentation
    • Product testing
    • CAD design for products and tooling (SolidWorks)
  • Assist engineers and designers with programming:
    • NC (Numerical Control) equipment
    • Additive manufacturing tools (3D printing)
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and fabricators throughout the R&D process
  • Work with the manufacturing team to:
    • Build samples and prototypes
    • Support process setup and improvements
  • Manage workload efficiently while maintaining strong communication across teams
  • Perform additional R&D-related tasks as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in programming
  • At least 1 year of SolidWorks design experience (required)
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office
  • Positive, hands-on attitude with a strong desire to learn
  • Willingness to work directly with tools, equipment, and prototypes
  • Passion for motorcycles and racing strongly preferred

 

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing)
  • Basic NC code or programming experience
  • Basic fabrication or shop skills
