About the Role

A global leader in industrial robotics and automation is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join its Semiconductor Sales team. This role is responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with leading semiconductor OEMs and end users across North America.

Based in San Jose, CA, this position plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and partnering closely with executive decision-makers at key accounts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account and sales strategies aligned with North American growth objectives
  • Manage 5–10 strategic semiconductor customers, driving long-term relationships, revenue growth, and market share expansion
  • Grow sales with OEMs and end users in the semiconductor ecosystem
  • Build strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders and key decision-makers
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities
  • Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenues with accuracy
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and account reviews
  • Track, analyze, and report sales performance, pipeline activity, and revenue metrics
  • Develop pricing strategies and gather competitor pricing intelligence
  • Investigate lost sales and develop recovery strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (engineering, service, operations, marketing) to ensure customer success
  • Support and participate in sales training initiatives as needed
  • Attend industry trade shows, customer meetings, and semiconductor conferences
  • Monitor budgets, control expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong background in B2B technical sales, preferably capital equipment
  • Proven experience managing semiconductor OEM accounts (e.g., AMAT, Lam, KLA, etc.)
  • Experience working for a semiconductor supplier, OEM, and/or end-fab customer (e.g., Intel or similar)
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor industry trends and customer requirements
  • Experience leading or supporting sales teams is a plus
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, CRM usage, and data-driven decision-making
