Salary: $20-21/hr

Reports To: Amusement Planning Manager/ Director

Location: Brea, CA

 

Overview

The Representative is responsible for planning and managing the procurement and inventory of the Amusement Department. In addition, the Representative will interface with vendors, be involved in product negotiations, and administer purchase orders including overseas transactions.

 

Essential:

  • Identifies and plans Amusement Departments’ arcade needs
  • Provides input on customers’ needs/wants
  • Conducts tasks on the task list and follows instructions from the manager and director’s instructions
  • Understands/ follows the Amusement Department’s standard procedures and flow
  • Helps solve problems that affect the Amusement Departments’ efficiency, services, and productivity
  • Has a clear understanding of the objectives and principles of the company’s goals
  • Plans amusement-related promotions and advertisements with a manager
  • Is involved in the negotiations and administration of awarded contracts
  • Reviews invoices and submits them to the Accounting department for accurate payment
  • Confirms and supports the stores receiving delivery of machinery, equipment, and promotional items according to the plan and inspects their conditions
  • Ensures accurate price settings, gameplay settings, and TAX settings on POSs and Kiosks.
  • Analyzes the sales and transaction data to maximize revenue and investigates any fraudulent data
  • Supports and manages the COGS controls with the Operation departments
  • Supports the attractive appearance of the game floor, crane display, and redemption display for the stores
  • Sources potential suppliers
  • Solicits bids, reviews bids, and recommends suppliers
  • Maintains vendor relationships
  • Business trip as needed (average once a month depending on the situation)
  • May require flexible work schedules during business trips (may start as early as 3:00 am or 4:00 am, depending on the flight schedule and task.)
  • Ensures compliance with federal/state rules and regulations

  

Safety, Loss Prevention and Procedural Compliance:

  • Follows Company guidelines for managing confidential information, customer satisfaction and supervising sales associates.
  • Supports the achievement of employee safety and loss prevention objectives via all available media i.e. monthly meeting and one-on-one counseling.
  • Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance and condition of assigned areas of responsibility to comply with security, safety and environmental codes and ordinances.
  • Enforces compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety, loss prevention.

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferably in the entertainment, retail or hospitality industries is preferred
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, taxation etc. to practical situations.
  • MS Office Suite; specifically ability to conduct calculations and compile reports on Microsoft Excel.
