The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports young children’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards
Support children’s development in literacy, numeracy, social skills, and motor skills
Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
Observe and assess student progress and maintain accurate records
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff
Ensure classroom safety and follow school policies and procedures
Qualifications
Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Teaching license/certification (as required by local regulations)
Experience working with young children preferred
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching
Work Environment
Classroom-based, working with children ages 4–6
Requires standing, movement, and active engagement throughout the day
