A Japanese retail company is looking for a Sales Coordinator to support sales operations with retail and distribution partners. This position handles order management, data coordination, and communication between internal teams and clients to ensure smooth daily operations.
What you’ll do
Handle sales calls and emails for assigned clients.
Receive and confirm purchase orders from retailers and distributors; correct order details as needed.
Coordinate internally and externally to manage orders and ensure on-time delivery.
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on payments.
Compile sales data and assist with analysis, forecasting, and inventory tracking.
Prepare sales proposals and item setup sheets for new products.
Identify potential issues and suggest solutions to managers.
Conduct market research (store visits and online checks) and create reports.
Support business development activities and new opportunities.
Attend online and in-person meetings; occasional domestic/international travel may be required.
Assist with contract negotiation and execution.
Provide customer service support (troubleshooting, answering claims and inquiries).
Assist with marketing tasks such as website/social media updates, influencer outreach, and promotional materials.
Prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and perform other duties as assigned.
