Semiconductor Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Semiconductor Sales Associate to drive business growth in the U.S. market. The successful candidate will manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and work closely with cross-functional teams (FAE, marketing, product management) to promote our semiconductor solutions to customers. This position, based in Campbell, California, reports directly to the VP of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in assigned territory/accounts
- Identify new business opportunities in emerging markets (IoT, automotive, industrial, consumer electronics, etc.)
- Collaborate with Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to provide technical solutions and design-in support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, negotiation, contract closing, and after-sales support
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and account plans
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings
- Stay updated on semiconductor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of sales experience in semiconductors (ASIC/ASSP), or related technology fields
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor products (MCUs, SoCs, RF, analog, memory, etc.)
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English and Japanese
- Ability to travel for business when needed

- Existing network with U.S. customers in automotive, industrial, or IoT sectors
- Familiarity with distribution channels and partner management
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
- Technical background with ability to engage in product-level discussions
Work Conditions
- Standard working hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Work is on-site at the office; remote work is not permitted.
- Occasional meetings may be required after 6:00 p.m. to communicate with teams at the headquarters in Japan.
- Employment includes a 180-day probationary period.
