SALES EXECUTIVE – SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP & PROGRAM

Location: San Diego, CA

Work hours: M-F 10-19 (including1 hour lunch break)

Salary Range: 75-80K base

Objective:

Drive the expansion of Japan’s No.1 learning platform — an innovative, next-generation education solution — by promoting the adoption of our client’s programming materials and assessments to local school districts and educational organizations.

This position focuses on business development and sales execution, building long-term partnerships with educational institutions through strategic proposals, contract negotiations, and relationship management. You will lead the entire sales process — from prospecting and pitching to implementation and ongoing support — ensuring successful delivery and satisfaction among educators.

(This position is not required Japanese language skill)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential schools, after-school programs, and educational institutions.
  • Initiate contact and schedule appointments with school principals, education coordinators, and decision-makers.
  • Present and demonstrate the company’s assessment system and related educational tools to clients.
  • Plan and oversee trial or demo classes to showcase the system’s effectiveness.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from school representatives, students, and parents after trial sessions.
  • Manage and support a team of some staff, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality performance.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for the management department.
  • Handle general office administrative tasks and assist with internal coordination.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and special assignments as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with educational stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and long-term collaboration.

Required Experience/Qualifications

MUST

  • Have minimum bachelor’s degree in business, Education or relevant field.
  • Be able to travel within greater Los Angeles area.
  • Have Valid driver’s license
  • Have legal employment status in the US
  • Have a passion for Education

STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • 2–3 years of experience in education-related sales, partnerships, or business development
  • Proven track record in selling or implementing educational products, curricula, or technology solutions.
  • Experience working with school districts, charter schools, or educational boards.
  • Background in after-school programs, EdTech, tutoring, or education-focused NPOs is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of CSTA (California K–12 Computer Science Standards) or STEM education frameworks
  • Familiarity with the education system and school culture in Southern California (San Diego County and Los Angeles County)
