Sr. Accountant

Position: Sr. Accountant

Salary: $75K + 10% Bonus

Location: Rosemont, IL (Hybrid)

Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Background Requirements:

·      Bachelors Degree in Accounting

·      At least two years accounting experience

·      Excellent Excel skills including Vlookup, nested formulas, & Pivot Tables

Job Responsibilities:

·      Perform general accounting activities including entry and review of accounting transactions, review invoices and process payments.

• Perform Month End Closing Procedures including analyzing account balances, posting month end journal entries, and preparing reconciliations to supporting schedules.
• Prepare & submit reporting packages to parent company using IFRS.
• Prepare & submit various BEA surveys on behalf of the group companies.
• Monitor and report daily cash pooling activities and overnight loan transactions.
• Account for loan activities including cash receipts and payments of maturing loans.
• Prepare and review JSOX evaluations for group companies.
• Assist external auditors during the year end audit.
• Support the accounting & reporting of legacy company.
