Temporary Position – Middle Office Clerk
Location: Hybrid (New York City office required a minimum of 3 days per week)
Work hours: M-F 5 days a week, 4-7 hours between 9am-5pm
Hourly Rate: $37–45/hour

Position Overview
A Japanese company is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Middle Office Clerk to support daily reconciliation and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation tasks to verify and reconcile data between internal systems and external sources.
- Review email correspondence, broker statements, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain data integrity and operational efficiency.
- Follow established procedures and compliance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Basic understanding of financial products or operations is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a plus.
- Japanese language skills are highly preferred.
- Prior financial industry experience is welcome but not required.
