About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Sales & Customer Solutions Associate to join our Atlanta Branch in Duluth, GA. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in sales, logistics, customer service, supply chain operations, or the technology/electronics sector who want to grow their career in a global business environment.
You will work directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support sales activities, manage orders, coordinate supply chain operations, and contribute to business growth in the electronic components industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Account Support
- Visit existing and prospective customers to build long-term relationships
- Conduct sales activities through in-person meetings, phone calls, and email
- Handle RFQs by collecting pricing/lead time from suppliers and preparing quotations
- Identify new business opportunities and support customer development efforts
- Travel within the local region (with occasional overnight trips)
Customer Service & Order Management
- Process customer orders, including data entry and documentation
- Communicate order status, delivery schedules, and product inquiries
- Collaborate with engineers (internal or vendor) to support technical questions
- Verify shipping/payment terms and customer account information
- Assist in issue resolution by coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners
Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordination
- Place purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and specifications
- Participate in phone and web meetings with global partners
Qualifications
Preferred Backgrounds:
- Inside or outside sales
- Logistics, supply chain, or order management
- Customer service in manufacturing, B2B, or distribution
- Technical account support
- Electronics or technology industry experience (plus, not required)
- Japanese language ability or experience working with Japanese companies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based role with regular customer visits
- Use of computer, phone, and office equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Travel required by car and occasionally by airplane
