Japanese Electronic Components Manufacturer Seeking Part-Time Office Administrator (Temp/Dispatch)

Position Title: Office Administrator

Employment Type: Temporary / Dispatch (not direct hire)

Location: Downers Grove, IL

Start Date: January 2026

Duration: Approximately 6 to 12 months

Work Hours: 16 hours per week (flexible schedule available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM)

Main Duties: Support scanning and filing of employee records. The assignment will conclude once this project is completed.

Position Overview

The company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to support daily office operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an office setting, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to manage confidential employee records through scanning and filing. This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize employee records, including scanning, filing, and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as managing correspondence.
  • Prepare and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Support HR and management with administrative tasks related to employee documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for record-keeping.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years working in an office environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with document management systems or HR software.
