Job Summary

Our client is seeking a proactive and highly motivated Japanese Bilingual IT Systems Administrator to support secure, stable, and efficient IT operations across multiple offices and global teams. This role serves as a key on-site IT owner while collaborating closely with overseas stakeholders, including Japan HQ and European teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on, service-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user IT support and systems administration across multiple facilities
  • Maintain and support office networks, devices, and security infrastructure
  • Administer Microsoft-based environments including Office 365, device management, and identity management tools
  • Manage endpoint devices and mobile environments using modern device management platforms
  • Monitor and respond to IT security events and support incident response activities
  • Coordinate with global IT teams to ensure system stability, uptime, and continuous improvement
  • Support IT service management processes and contribute to documentation and process optimization
  • Participate in flexible working hours to support meetings with Japan HQ and Europe
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required (approximately 15–25%)
  • Other duties might be assigned by managers.

Required Qualifications

  • Japanese and English bilingual proficiency (fluent reading, writing, and speaking required)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or IT support roles
  • Experience supporting IT operations across multiple offices or facilities
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, device management, ITSM platforms, and security tools
  • Familiarity with network fundamentals, endpoint security, and software application management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across cultures and time zones
  • Proactive, energetic, and motivated mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and perform standard office physical tasks
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
