Import Agent – Air Freight

Location: Dallas, TX 75247 | Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Agent (Air Freight) to manage air import operations at an onsite logistics office in Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate air freight import shipments from origin to destination
• Prepare and review import documents (B/L, commercial invoices, packing lists)
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import requirements
• Communicate with airlines, customs brokers, and internal teams
• Track shipments, resolve issues, and provide customer updates
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent required
• 1–2 years of import/export experience (air freight preferred)
• Basic knowledge of customs regulations and import documentation
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; logistics software experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Work Style

• Hourly pay: $23–$26 (based on experience)
• Onsite position (no remote work)
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
