ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary:
The General Manager plays a critical role in the development and success of whole organization as well as each branch. It is the responsibility of the GM to strategically lead teams, monitor and build the financial performance of the team, meet or exceed metrics, and cultivate a network of business partners within the freight industry both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creates and implement a business plan strategy that successfully company’s sales goals and expected profit margins.
- Plans and monitor inbound/outbound operations including cargo arrangement and warehouse activities, ensuring safety work environment.
- Engages and makes sound decisions in regard to the branch budget, expenses, costs and overall profitability.
- Oversees and measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports of each branch.
- Communicates and reports branch and individual accountability back to MSE’s officers.
- Delivers clear expectations in regard to the role and direction of branches.
- Promotes and ensures a positive work environment that is challenging and engaging.
- Embraces the hiring process and be a part of solidifying the branches’ key positions.

Qualifications/Experiences:
- 7 years+ in the air/ocean freight forwarding, domestic cargo movement, and third-party logistics management preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
