SUMMARY
Japanese conglomerate trade and investment company in MI seeks Japanese Bilingual Finance Manager oversees daily operations, accounting and approvals, and the accurate execution of transactions related to general ledger, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. He/she provides accurate and timely financial reporting, management reporting, including reporting to the Japan headquarters, and related analyses. He/she also performs financial due diligence in the execution of investment strategies.

$100K-130K + bonus +relocation
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations and approvals for assigned sales sections: general ledger, overdue accounts receivable, fixed assets, account reconciliations and financial close.
Prepare management / KPI reporting, financial reporting, and related variance analyses.
Assist with budgeting and shared service allocations at the section levels.
Support external and internal audits, including providing supporting documentation and responding to audit findings.
Maintain a high standard of balance sheet accuracy through preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, striving for no exceptions and therefore reducing risk.
Continuously monitor the profitability of each business and provide management with the information they need to make business decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred: CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CFA(Chartered Financial Analyst), CTP(Certified Treasury Professional, MBA(Master of Business Administration)
Master's degree: MBA (emphasis on management, strategy, and leadership) or MS in Finance (advanced financial analysis and modeling).
Experience includes leading financial statements, budget formulation, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, FP&A (budget and performance management), cash flow management, tax and audit response. Participation in cross-functional projects (collaboration with business divisions, ERP implementation, system improvement). Experience in developing subordinates and leading teams will be highly valued.
MS Office (Intermediary Excel skills plus),
Preferable: SQL (intermediate level), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), basic ERP operations (SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Workday, etc.), advanced Excel automation (VBA/Macro)
Ability to interpret various instructions, both written and verbal. Excellent communication skills are also essential. Ability to speak Japanese will be an advantage in the selection process.
