We are looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our Automotive OEM Parts Business Team. This full-time, non-exempt position supports sales operations and works closely with the Manager to ensure sales activities align with business goals. The role involves daily sales coordination, customer engagement with OEM and Tier 1 clients, and support of strategic sales initiatives.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, the Assistant Sales Manager supports sales operations, assists with planning and coordination, and helps maintain strong customer relationships. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams and customers while staying informed on product offerings and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily sales operations
Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and after project completion
Assist in achieving annual sales targets and supporting revenue growth initiatives
Coordinate daily sales activities and support other sales team members
Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEM and Tier 1 customers
Manage customer communications via phone, email, and customer portals
Prepare presentations, sales materials, and reports
Monitor sales performance metrics and recommend improvements
Stay current on product updates and share relevant information with the sales team
Travel primarily within the U.S., with occasional international travel
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of B2B experience in automotive or industrial sales or customer service, preferably with OEM or Tier 1 customers
Experience in an Assistant Sales Manager or similar sales support role
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
Ability to analyze sales performance and support strategic planning
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Education
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Sales preferred

Salary range: $65,000 to $80,000 per year
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (1-hour unpaid break, overtime required as needed)
