Duration: 10/16/2026-approximately for 4 months (Duration could change depends of the progress of the project)

Work hours: M-F 7am – 4pm (1 hour unpaid lunch) *OT only when client approves
Pay rate: $28-$33/hour (DOE)
Reimbursement: Mileage for the daily commute, safety gears when needed
Main responsibilities:
Provide simultaneous/consecutive interpretation of technical documents of high complexity from Japanese to English and English to Japanese in a professional manner.
Ensure the meaning, feeling, intent of the original and technical words are accurately transmitted without distortion, omissions or additions.
Line-side verbal interpretation is required.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be able to commute to the work site every day
Must have interpretation and translation experience in machining or general manufacturing industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both in Japanese and English)
