We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, accounting controls, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations. This position will play a key role in monitoring the organization’s financial performance, improving accounting processes, and providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial reporting, forecasts, revenue, expenses, and financial data.
Develop and maintain internal accounting controls and transaction guidelines.
Support strategic planning, financial analysis, and budgeting activities.
Coordinate the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial information.
Review accounts and ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
Manage accounting staff and support operational improvements.
Perform additional accounting and financial responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
5+ years of related accounting experience.
CPA certification preferred.
Automotive experience (preferably with a Japanese company) is required.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Advanced proficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, and computer applications.
Ability to travel approximately 5% as business needs require.
