Summary

Our client, a Japanese company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support account management, customer retention, and business development activities. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer relationships, handling sales inquiries and quotations, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position is ideal for candidates with strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and an interest in developing a career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Sales

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key client contacts
  • Conduct regular communication with customers via phone and email
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms as appropriate
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and sales opportunities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through post-sales support

Sales Operations & Administration

  • Prepare periodic reports on customer needs, concerns, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Maintain and update CRM records
  • Support sales inquiries and quotation processes
  • Assist with inventory control and coordination
  • Participate in marketing and business development initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–2 years of sales experience preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative sales abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Valid driver's license required
