Position: General Affairs Manager

Location: Cerritos CA

Salary: $81,120  /year (Exempt)

Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced bilingual General Affairs Manager to oversee office administration, facility operations, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination. This position will supervise departmental operations, support process improvements, and ensure efficient day-to-day business functions while working closely with management and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

General Affairs & Office Operations

  • Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions
  • Manage office supply procurement, inventory control, and facility maintenance coordination
  • Handle office repairs, consumable replacements, and workplace operational issues
  • Coordinate company business card orders and maintain issuance records
  • Support office and facility improvement initiatives

Operations & Team Management

  • Supervise team members and provide guidance as needed
  • Establish departmental priorities and operational goals
  • Coordinate schedules and collaborate with other departments to support corporate objectives
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Conduct operational reviews and recommend system enhancements

Vendor & Corporate Administration

  • Manage vendor relationships, service coordination, invoice review, and payment processing
  • Oversee company vehicle administration including registration, insurance, maintenance, and renewals
  • Manage corporate insurance policies and broker communications
  • Handle annual reports, business licenses, and corporate compliance documentation
  • Provide administrative support for company-related operational activities

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular updates and reporting to senior management
  • Maintain communication with internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and company initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English (reading, writing, and speaking required)
  • 3–5+ years of experience in office administration, executive assistant, general affairs, or related functions
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
