Position: Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator

Industry: Engineering and technical services primarily for automotive, industrial, and technology-related industries.

Work Style: Hybrid (Mon-Thu office, Fri WFH)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to support global supply chain operations, procurement activities, inventory management, and international logistics within the semiconductor equipment industry. This role combines administrative coordination with hands-on shipping, receiving, and inventory support responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source industrial parts and manage procurement activities for service and manufacturing operations
  • Coordinate RFQs, vendor communications, pricing, and lead times
  • Maintain vendor relationships and support new vendor onboarding
  • Process purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, and vendor bills
  • Track shipments, inventory levels, and order status updates
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipping, including customs documentation and freight arrangements
  • Inspect, document, relabel, and organize incoming parts and shipments
  • Support inventory replenishment and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and reporting
  • Assist with logistics for hazardous materials and international shipments

Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • Experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain coordination
  • QuickBooks and Excel experience preferred
  • Japanese language skills are a plus
