Position Summary:
This position supports sales activities by processing customer orders,
coordinating shipping domestically and importing from Asia, managing inventory
and issuing invoices.
Required skills/experiences/traits:
Associate or bachelor’s Degree
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
3 -5 years of experience in importing from Asia and domestic transportation
Strong math skills and data entry skills
Strong customer service experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills
Preferred skills/experiences/traits:
Written and verbal communication skills in Japanese
Experience in Accounting
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service
⚫ Verifying Customer Orders for accuracy on pricing and sales terms
⚫ Issuing Order Acknowledgements and/or Proforma Invoices
⚫ Coordinating shipping
⚫ Issuing sales invoices
Inventory
⚫ Maintaining inventory records and reconciling each month
⚫ Verifying charges from truckers and warehouses
Import
⚫ Filling ISF data accurately and timely
⚫ Tracing import shipments and confirming customs clearance data
⚫ Record keeping of customs entry data and documents
