Position: Administrative Assistant and Inside Sales

Location: Vernon, CA

Industry: Food Manufacturing

Employment Type: Non-Exempt 

Wage: ~$27 (DOE)

Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8 hours per day)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle general administrative tasks and process customer orders.
  • Manage and process various forms and documents.
  • Respond to a high volume of emails and phone calls.
  • Address irregular situations and provide support to the sales team.
  • Manage payments and ensure timely transactions.
  • Coordinate with the manufacturing department to ensure smooth order processing and follow up on shipments.
  • Other miscellaneous duties and projects assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively different departments, such as manufacturing.
  • Attention to detail, especially in processing payments and ensuring shipment accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in sales support and administrative tasks is a plus.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Intermediate-level conversational Japanese (reading and writing not required)
  • Proficiency in Chinese or Korean is a plus.
