Salary: $54-65k/year (DOE) plus bonus

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Trade Operations Coordinator to support trading and sales activities within the business department.
This role focuses on documentation, transaction processing, logistics coordination, and customer support related to domestic and international trade. The ideal candidate is organized, numbers-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Documentation Management
- Prepare and manage documentation for import, export, offshore, and domestic transactions
- Create invoices and billing instructions based on contracts
- Track contracts from initiation through final delivery
Settlement & Financial Coordination
- Coordinate settlement methods (L/C, Bills for Collection, wire transfers, etc.)
- Support cash flow planning by researching exchange rates and financial trends
- Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
Logistics & Transportation
- Arrange transportation and shipment of goods
- Communicate shipping details to buyers and suppliers
- Resolve logistics issues and coordinate with internal teams when needed
Accounts & Reporting
- Maintain accounts receivable and payable records
- Prepare debit memos and vouchers
- Track transaction data for periodic reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Follow up on overdue payments
Customer Support
- Respond to inquiries regarding orders, payments, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Track order status and provide updates to customers and vendors
Credit & Compliance Support
- Coordinate with the Credit Department on customer credit status
- Assist with credit checks and limit adjustments
International Transactions
- Process international fund transfers and maintain transaction logs
Additional Duties
- Support special projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
