Network Support Technician Japanese Bilingual

Salary: $40,000$45,000/year + bonus + Night Shift Differential Available

Work Schedule

This position operates on a rotating shift schedule:

  • 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM 11:00 PM
  • 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Employees work 5 days per week, with shifts rotating on a weekly basis. Weekend and holiday shifts are included as part of the rotation.

About the Opportunity

A global company in the telecommunications and IT infrastructure industry is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Network Support Technician to join its 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) team in Los Angeles.

This is a great opportunity for candidates who are interested in starting or developing a career in IT, networking, telecommunications, and infrastructure support.

Previous professional network experience is not required. Long-term on-the-job training (OJT) will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates who are motivated to learn technical skills and build a career in the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support network and IT infrastructure services in a 24/7 Network Operations Center
  • Provide operational support for networks, data centers, international transmission services, backbone infrastructure, and related IT services
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in both Japanese and English
  • Perform basic technical troubleshooting by following established procedures, manuals, and workflows
  • Escalate technical issues to appropriate engineering teams when necessary
  • Monitor system alerts and service status
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and customer communications
  • Work closely with internal technical teams to support stable network operations
  • Learn networking and telecommunications technologies through structured OJT

Qualifications

  • Business-level Japanese and English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Interest in IT, networking, telecommunications, or technical support
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technical concepts
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable following established procedures
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have valid U.S. work authorization
