Real Estate Asset Management & Corporate Planning-Japanese Bilingual

 

Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid, 3+ days in office)

$100-150K +bonus and relocation, visa support

 

Position Summary

Global Real Estate  is seeking a bilingual Japanese real estate professional to support the expansion of its U.S. business, with a primary focus on real estate development and investment activities in the Sun Belt region. The role will be responsible for evaluating and executing new development and acquisition opportunities while also supporting the operational management of local entities, including business planning, governance, financial reporting, and tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Real Estate Investment & Development

Identify, evaluate, and support execution of real estate acquisition and development opportunities across the Sun Belt region.

Conduct financial modeling, cash flow analysis, investment underwriting, and market research.

Assist in due diligence processes, including financial, legal, operational, and commercial reviews.

Prepare investment memoranda, internal approval materials, and management reports.

Monitor ongoing development projects and coordinate with external partners, developers, consultants, lenders, and legal counsel.

Evaluate project performance and recommend strategic actions to optimize returns.

Corporate Planning & Entity Management

Support annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for U.S. operations.

Assist with governance, compliance, and corporate administration activities.

Coordinate tax filing processes and support interactions with external auditors and advisors.

Analyze operational and financial performance of the U.S. portfolio and prepare management reports.

Ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting requirements.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Serve as a liaison between U.S. operations and headquarters in Japan.

Prepare business reports and presentations in both English and Japanese.

Support communication with senior management, investors, lenders, and external stakeholders.

Participate in strategic discussions regarding portfolio expansion and business development initiatives.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in:

Real estate acquisition,

Real estate development,

Real estate investment,

Asset management, or

Related investment analysis functions.

Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.

Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Understanding of:

Financial statements,

Corporate finance,

Accounting principles,

Tax concepts.

Ability to review and understand English language contracts, reports, and transaction documents.

Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Preferred

Experience in U.S. real estate development or acquisitions.

CPA, CFA, or related professional designation.

Exposure to joint venture structures, institutional real estate, or investment funds.

Experience supporting business planning, governance, compliance, or corporate operations.
