General Position Summary:
The Product Development Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative, project coordination, and product information management support to the Product Development team. This role is responsible for maintaining product information and graphic assets, coordinating cross-functional activities, and supporting new product and packaging initiatives
Essential Job Functions:
Provide comprehensive administrative, coordination, and project support for product development activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
Maintain and update product information, specifications, product databases, graphic assets, price lists, sell sheets, and other related documentation.
Manage item setup, product registrations, product updates, and product information platforms (including 1WorldSync) to ensure data accuracy and timely distribution of information to internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as a liaison among Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain Management, overseas manufacturers, distributors, and other external partners.
Coordinate packaging artwork development and revisions with designers and vendors, including the review of label artwork and proofs to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate the timely distribution of product updates, new item announcements, and related product information to internal departments and distributors.
Prepare reports, presentations, spreadsheets, specifications, and other business documents to support product development activities.
Perform other administrative and project support duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office, administrative, project coordination, or related business environment.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, data management, and advanced formulas such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and IF statements.
Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including professional document creation, formatting, tables, templates, and document review functions.
Typing proficiency with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop preferred. Strong organizational, prioritization, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
Japanese language proficiency is preferred but not required.
