Maintenance Technician – Mechanical/Electrical

Location: Miami, FL / Orlando, FL

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent, Non-Exempt

Hourly Pay: $24 – 35 /Hr + Full benefits package

Job Summary

A well-established transportation operations and maintenance company is seeking hands-on Maintenance Technicians to support the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.

Previous rail or automated transportation experience is not required. Training on site-specific systems, tools, and procedures will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and system components
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Respond to equipment or operational issues during assigned shifts
• Complete maintenance records and work-order documentation
• Follow all safety, quality, and operating procedures

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in automotive repair, industrial maintenance, electrical work, mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, or a related field
• Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent technical or hands-on experience will be considered in place of a degree
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and procedures through OJT
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Must be able to complete required pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screening
