Property Management & Leasing Coordinator (Bilingual Japanese/English)
Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (On-site)
Salary: $55,000–$70,000
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (Office-based)
- Weekend property showings may be required occasionally. A substitute day off will be provided.
- Occasional visits to managed properties throughout New York City.

Position Overview
A Japanese real estate company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management & Leasing Coordinator to support the day-to-day management and leasing of residential and mixed-use properties throughout New York City.
This role serves as the primary point of contact between property owners, tenants, prospective tenants, vendors, building management companies, utility providers, insurance companies, and internal team members while supporting property management operations, leasing activities, reporting, and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day property management operations for residential and mixed-use properties.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, tenants, vendors, and building management companies.
- Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, and vendor scheduling.
- Support leasing activities, including property listings, showings, applications, lease preparation, renewals, and move-ins.
- Prepare owner reports and maintain accurate property records.
- Assist with rent collection, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and general administrative tasks.
- Support additional property management and leasing responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Experience in property management, leasing, real estate, hospitality, or customer service is preferred, but not required.
- Experience using DoorLoop or other property management software is a plus.
Language Requirements
- Fluent English
- Business-level Japanese (written and spoken)
Both English and Japanese proficiency are required for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- A New York Real Estate License is preferred.
- Candidates who do not currently hold a license must be willing to obtain one after employment begins.
