Regional Total Rewards Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Regional Total Rewards Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs across North America.
In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders and HR teams to develop total rewards strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while ensuring internal equity and alignment with organizational goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong expertise in compensation, benefits, payroll, and market analysis, as well as experience leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Management
- Partner with business leaders and HR to deliver market-competitive compensation solutions
- Design and administer programs such as bonus plans, recognition awards, relocation, and company car programs
Benefits Strategy & Management
- Develop and manage health, retirement, and other benefits programs
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and support union negotiations
- Regularly review programs to maintain competitiveness and effectiveness
Policy & Compliance
- Maintain compensation and benefits policies aligned with legal and regulatory requirements
- Oversee employee handbooks (U.S., and support Canada/Mexico as needed)
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
Communication & Training
- Drive clear communication strategies for total rewards programs
- Provide guidance and training to managers and employees
Vendor & Union Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants
- Lead union negotiations related to total rewards
Budget & Data Management
- Oversee regional compensation and benefits budgets
- Ensure HRIS data integrity and reporting accuracy
Leadership
- Lead and develop compensation, benefits, and payroll teams
- Contribute to North America HR Leadership Team strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Certifications such as CCP, CBP, or CEBS are highly desirable
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or HR leadership
- Strong knowledge of U.S., Canada, and Mexico rewards practices and regulations
- Proven leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving skills
