 Accounting Coordination

• Prepare, examine, and analyze complex accounting records, including AP/AR-related documents, financial statements, and other financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting and procedural standards.

• Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

• Prepare and analyze detailed cash flow reports, identify and evaluate variances, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

• Oversee and maintain cash management accounts and other bank accounts, ensuring optimal cash flow and liquidity.

• Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders involved in financial transactions, providing expertise and assisting with negotiations as needed.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws by preparing and maintaining all tax documentation and related records, and coordinating with external tax accountants for state sales tax, property tax, corporate tax, and other tax filings.

• Manage and oversee quarterly reviews and year-end financial audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.

• Collaborate with management to prepare and monitor annual, quarterly, and monthly expense budgets, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization.

• Lead internal audits related to collections, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Stay updated on relevant accounting systems, GAAP standards, and IRS regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

 Operational Oversight

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

• Oversee the calculation of final inventory value at the end of the accounting period, supporting periodic physical inventory counts and variance analysis.

• Design, implement, and maintain forms, manuals, and procedures for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, providing training and guidance to ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

• Act as a subject matter expert in accounting operations, providing mentorship and support to junior team members.

 Key Competencies

QUALIFICATIONS/CONDITIONS

EDUCATIONAL: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Accounting/Finance related work for more than 8 years required
