Job Title: Account Executive

Salary: $83,000 – $90,300

Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Education & Basic Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

-Ability to quickly acquire and apply technical knowledge related to semiconductor manufacturing processes and ceramic material properties.

-Capacity to understand quality assurance standards and change management protocols.

Professional Experience

-2+ years of increasingly responsible sales or account management experience, preferably in the SPE (Semiconductor Production Equipment) or related technology markets.

-Proven experience in managing customer projects with high accountability, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are strictly met.

-Experience in sales operations via customer-specific platforms, including EDI systems, order entry, and demand forecasting.

Languages & Software Skills

-Proficiently communicate in writing and verbally using both English and Japanese languages.

-Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business software.

-Ability to work independently with self-motivation, while collaborating effectively as part of a global team.

-Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

-Frequent domestic and international travel is required to visit customers and manufacturing sites.

-Occasional weekend work and availability outside of standard business hours may be required to coordinate with global teams.

-Frequent sitting and extensive use of a computer, monitor, and keyboard for data management and video conferencing.

-Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds, such as product samples, trade show materials, or business equipment.

-Must be able to drive a motor vehicle for extended periods to visit customer locations.

Essential Duties:

Account Management & Operations

-Achieve assigned sales targets for company products through proactive account management and lead price negotiations to ensure competitive positioning and profit margins.

-Take full ownership of customer projects and end-to-end sales operations, including EDI, order entry, and demand forecasting, ensuring all requirements and deadlines are met with high accountability.

-Act as the primary liaison between customers and global sites to coordinate quality and change management processes (DMR/SNF), ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.

-Identify future product applications and technical requirements while monitoring competitive market information to support internal business strategies and professional customer presentations.

-Apply strong problem-solving skills to complex business challenges with a proactive desire to develop leadership capabilities and transition into a future management or supervisory role.

Business Development & Strategy

-Identify future customer product applications and technical requirements, actively communicating findings to the SPE team and company personnel.

-Monitor and communicate competitive market information obtained from customers or industry sources to the appropriate internal teams.

-Prepare and deliver professional presentations to customers to promote company products and services.

Compliance & Other Duties

-Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including IATF, ISO, J-Sox, and safety-related protocols.

-Comply with all applicable Antitrust and Competition Laws, ensuring all business activities are conducted fairly and ethically.

-Maintain strict confidentiality of proprietary information and adhere to Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) regarding both company and customer data.

-Perform miscellaneous tasks and special projects assigned by the Manager or senior leadership.

Supervisory Controls:

-Reports to: Manager or above.

-Nature of Supervision: Work is performed with considerable independence under general supervision. The Manager provides initial directions on sales targets and strategic objectives, while the employee is expected to manage day-to-end account operations and project deadlines autonomously.

-Review of Work: Performance is evaluated based on the achievement of assigned sales targets, the accuracy of order management, and the effectiveness of coordination between customers and company (Japan).

Technical Support:

-On-the-job training focuses on ceramic material properties and semiconductor manufacturing applications.

-Technical guidance and support from the SPE team and company engineering personnel in Japan.

-Training in internal and customer-specific systems.
