• Generate new business through cold calling, prospecting, qualifying leads, scheduling appointments, building relationships, and closing deals within the Western Region.
• Provide tailored, solution-based proposals for freight forwarding and logistics services.
• Resolve challenges using strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Achieve revenue, profit, and volume targets.
• Manage existing accounts to retain and grow business relationships.
• Support onboarding of new customers in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in the company’s CRM system.
• Meet or exceed KPI objectives set by management.
• Conduct on-site customer visits, presentations, and meetings as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Yamato’s forwarding members in other countries.
• Self-motivated, strong negotiator, and results-oriented professional.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Spanish Bilingual skill preferred.
• 2 years’ outside sales experience in the transportation and logistics industry preferred.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding and import/export business preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
