About the Role

Our client is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Marketing Sales Assistant to support sales operations, customer relations, digital marketing, and online sales activities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support existing customers and develop new business opportunities
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
• Process orders, invoices, shipments, and inventory updates
• Maintain customer and product databases
• Assist with email marketing campaigns and online store operations
• Participate in trade shows, events, and promotional activities
• Support administrative tasks and cross-functional projects

Qualifications

• Business-level Japanese and English required
• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, retail, or administrative support preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel
• Ability to multitask and work independently

Nice to Have

• Digital marketing or e-commerce experience
• Publishing, bookstore, or retail industry background
• Inventory or warehouse coordination experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 lbs
• Comfortable handling shipments and inventory-related tasks
