An established international educational institution is seeking a Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising initiatives and manage relationships with key stakeholders including alumni, parents, and donors.
Position: Fundraising Manager
Location: Purchase, NY ONSITE
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: 70K -78K / year (DOE) plus general benefit package
Working Hour: M-F 9AM – 5PM
Key Responsibilities:.
– Fundraising project planning
– Fundraising event planning and management
– Fundraising management
– Donor relations, planning and organizing donor receptions
– Donor database management
– Secretary to the President (schedule management, various tasks related to the President)
– Preparation for the Board of Directors meetings, taking and managing minutes, managing attendance, etc.
– Role as manager of the entire administrative office
Qualifications/requirements:
– Experience in donation collection/fundraising
– Excellent Japanese and English language skills
– Bachelor's degree or equivalent
– Relevant working experience and experience in a managerial position
– PC skills appropriate for office work, software operation skills (must be willing to learn new technologies)
– Experience with fundraising software, such as Raiser's Edge, is desirable.
– Ability to communicate smoothly and build relationships with faculty, staff, students, parents, donors, etc.
– Ability to work in a cooperative team environment
– Must be willing and able to travel internationally
