We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead sales activities for key high-profile accounts. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic relationships, and executing account plans to expand market presence. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in the electronic components industry along with a strategic, customer-focused mindset.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a technical field
  • 7+ years of sales experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the electronic components industry
  • Strong technical aptitude to understand customer requirements and propose solutions
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to navigate assigned territories for in-person meetings
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for key accounts
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines to drive revenue growth
  • Build and expand relationships with targeted customer accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Deliver tailored product presentations and solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, product management, and customer support
  • Support customers throughout development and production cycles
  • Act as primary liaison between customers and internal teams
  • Drive global account strategies for international customers
  • Identify and support new product development opportunities
  • Monitor industry trends and provide strategic insights
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide forecasts
  • Participate in sales planning and reporting activities
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • May be assigned other duties by managers
