Location: Multiple U.S. sites (TX, KS, NC and etc. on-site)


Position Summary

We are seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Electrical & Controls Engineer to provide on-site technical support in the U.S. for manufacturing equipment exported from Japan.

A training period in Japan will be provided prior to U.S. assignment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical installation, wiring, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment
  • Verify power supply, wiring, and control systems (PLC, HMI, servo, inverter, sensors)
  • Debug and modify PLC software and HMI screens
  • Troubleshoot issues and respond to customer inquiries
  • Propose and plan equipment maintenance and modifications
  • Prepare cost estimates and coordinate external contractors
  • Support and oversee Japanese engineers dispatched to U.S. sites
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations

Qualifications (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with PLC software, control systems, and electrical wiring
  • Ability to read and review electrical drawings and schematics
  • Japanese & English bilingual required (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at multiple U.S. locations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with industrial machinery (coater, slitter, film equipment, etc.)
  • Controls design experience (PLC, HMI, electrical schematics)
