Overview
This position covers both pre-sales and post-sales activities for IT solutions. The role works closely with customers, business partners, and internal engineering teams to identify needs, propose solutions, close deals, and support system implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Before Contract
Contact and visit new and existing customers to understand their needs and issues. Develop solution strategies based on customer requirements and past project or sales experience. Work with business partners to design and propose solutions. Prepare and deliver presentations and product or service demonstrations. Highlight product and service value based on customer needs. Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements. Prepare sales and contract documentation.
After Contract
Coordinate IT solution implementation with internal engineering teams and external partners. Manage project schedules and resolve issues during implementation. Support system troubleshooting in cooperation with engineering teams. Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
Other Responsibilities
Maintain customer records and sales activity reports. Report sales activities to supervisors. Conduct market research with internal teams and partners to identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Business-level Japanese and English. More than five years of experience in Sales, Sales Engineering, or Sales Marketing/Planning in the IT or telecommunications industry. Experience working directly with customers to identify needs and propose solutions. Project coordination skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
