Japanese lzakaya restaurant concept serving healthy seafood is opening a new chain restaurant in midtown east of Manhattan. Seeks an Assistant Manager to serve our mission to positively impact New Yorkers by making it easy to eat healthy and affordable food.

Location: Midtown NY

Salary: $65-80K

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

Working hours: Day shift/Evening shift between 10am to 11pm

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries.

Utilize POS systems to accurately process payments and orders.

Ensure food safety standards are met by handling and serving food properly.

Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance the dining experience.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to uphold sanitation standards.

Key Areas of Experience & Skills Required:

Serving or Bartending Experience, Japanese cuisine knowledge is a plus,

Any Front of House Restaurant or Catering Experience is a Plus!

Any Back of House Kitchen or Operations Experience is a Plus!

Flexible Schedule, Weekends & Holidays a must.

Organized, Detailed, Precise, Punctual & Reliable are Paramount_

Great Customer Service, Great Communication & Even Temper are a must

Positive Attitude, Team Player & Presentable.

Bilingual (English/Japanese) Applicants are a Plus!
