Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
Fluency in Japanese and English (Korean or Chinese a plus).
Minimum 2 years of grocery retail sales experience with proven record of meeting sales objectives.
Strong organizational and management skills; able to work with minimal supervision.
Valid driver’s license, liability insurance, and clean driving record per MVR guidelines.
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, and work in store/warehouse environments (frequent lifting, bending, squatting).
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales/marketing programs to achieve annual sales and profit goals.
Collaborate with senior leadership on new product launches, pricing, and marketing activities.
Identify opportunities for product line extensions and growth in Asian foodservice and grocery markets.
Build and maintain relationships with distributors and retail accounts; conduct product training sessions.
Ensure merchandising, shelf stocking, and product visibility in both dry shelf and cold box settings.
Support store resets, schematic enforcement, and promotional campaigns with POS and coupon placement.
Analyze consumer trends and market data to inform sales strategy.
Provide excellent customer service through daily communication, problem resolution, and follow-up.
Participate in ride-alongs with distributors and represent company at trade shows and special events.
Attend required team and company meetings (regional/national).
