We are seeking a Sales Assistant Manager to support import/export operations and serve as a key customer representative. This role manages daily sales administration, order coordination, logistics, and communication with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Support accounting and sales administration (A/R oversight, order approval, reporting).
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships; assist with order acquisition and pricing.
  • Coordinate the full order cycle from quotation to delivery and payment collection.
  • Conduct basic market and product research.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documents.
  • Handle negotiations, contract preparation, and supplier coordination.
  • Manage order entry, logistics scheduling, and shipping arrangements.
  • Prepare import/export documents (invoice, packing list, B/L, CO, etc.).
  • Support compliance, insurance, and risk management.
  • Provide customer support and follow-up for quality or service issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 6–9 years of sales or customer service experience.
  • Experience in import/export, logistics, or production control preferred.
  • Strong communication skills; Japanese a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel intermediate+).
