Reporting to the Manager, the Assistant Sales Manager will support and oversee sales operations, assist in strategic planning, and ensure alignment of sales initiatives with business objectives. The role includes supporting sales operations, engaging OEM and Tier 1 customers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and industry developments.
Role Priorities
・ Ensure client satisfaction throughout the sales process and post-sale project completion.
・ Assist the Manager in Planning, coordinating and monitoring daily sales operations.
• Support the Manager in achieving annual sales goals and driving revenue growth through strategic planning and operational oversight.
• Coordinate day-to-day sales activities, providing guidance and support to other sales staff.
• Develop good long-term client relationships and contribute to strategic account planning.
• Manage all customer communications and sales opportunities via phone, email, and customer portals.
• Prepare presentations, sales documents, and reports to support sales strategy.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with new products and ensure sales team members are on board.
• Primarily domestic travel in the USA, with occasional international assignments.
Minimum Requirements:
・ Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
・ Proven work experience as an Assistant Sales Manager or similar sales role
・ Ability to understand and analyze sales performance Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
・ Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
・ Minimum of five (5) years of B2B experience in automotive or industrial sales or customer service, preferably with Tier 1 and/or OEM clients in the automotive or industrial sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or Sales preferred
