An IT solutions company is seeking an experienced Japanese–English bilingual Sales Account Manager to drive new business development and manage enterprise-level client relationships. This role focuses on selling IT and network-related solutions and requires a strong background in IT sales. The ideal candidate is consultative, relationship-driven, and comfortable engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, and acquire new customers for IT solutions and services
Identify and qualify sales opportunities with enterprise and mid-market clients
Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition, solutions, and competitive advantages to prospects, including C-level executives
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers and executive stakeholders
Manage client accounts, address day-to-day needs, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Conduct consultative selling, account planning, and account management with a strong customer-service focus
Work closely with Project Management and Operations during pre- and post-sales activities
Stay current on technology trends, solutions, and market developments
Provide accurate sales forecasts and manage pipeline health
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets while representing the company with professionalism and integrity
Requirements
MUST have proven IT sales experience
Strong understanding of network and ICT solutions
Experience selling IT services and products such as network infrastructure, security, cloud, managed services, or related solutions
Knowledge of network security, zero trust, cloud services, managed services, and emerging technologies
Strong presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in IT or ICT sales
Established client base in the Houston area
Bachelor’s degree (technical and/or business background preferred)
Experience presenting to executive-level audiences
Ability to work with international teams and attend meetings outside standard business hours as needed
